Safe Haven provides permanent housing to single women who are homeless and have a mental health diagnosis. The program has two separate houses, each serving four women. On-site staff provide supervision, support, and assist the women to develop the skills needed to live successfully in the community. The residents receive case management services and are encouraged to be actively involved with mental health treatment, medication management, and other social supports in the community. Residents must be at least 18 years of age, and meet the HUD criteria for homelessness.
